It can be difficult for children/adolescents and adults to identify why they do what they do - or even that what they are doing that can negatively impact their mood, self-esteem, ability to relax and feel confident. It helps to work with a therapist who is empathetic and nonjudgmental, who can help identify patterns, triggers, and functions of behavior that can be destructive or exacerbate other mental health issue; while working to improve mood/coping skills that can lead to a more positive, happier life and to reach their full potential.

I have provided services to children/adolescents and adults with varying diagnoses throughout my career of more than 20 years. I have worked extensively with adolescents with severe emotional disorders, children/adolescents on the Autism Spectrum and adults, as well as adults with depression/anxiety, life stressors, marital issues and parenting skills and support. I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology from Eastern Michigan University.

I utilize Behavioral Therapy with a Client Centered approach. My experience and passion is utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as behavioral plans that focus on developing proactive coping skills while reducing problematic behaviors.
