Individual Therapy
What is Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy is where individuals meet in a one-on-one session with their therapist. During these sessions, the theraist will listen to your concerns and work with you to create a treatment plan that best fits your individual needs. Our clinicians can help you with a variety of mental health issues including, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, life stress, relationship issues, ADHD, coping skills, and much more.
Types of Therapy
Individual therapy utilizes distinct types of therapy and is often a combination of multiple therapy types. Each therapist uses their own unique set of skills to compliment your needs to create a plan for where you want your mental health to be.
Many therapists at our practice use CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT is an evidence-based therapy type that is based on challenging negative thoughts and changing our thought processes to reframe the issues in our lives. Other therapy types available include, but are not limited to, DBT, EMDR, Family Systems, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focus, and Strength-based.
