Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LMSW
Maintaining your mental health is just as important as maintaining your physical health. Whether it is day to day stress, a major life changing event, or even something that may seem totally outside your control, learning the skills to manage the emotions that come with life is so important.
I recieved my masters of social work from Wayne State University in 2019 with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Since then I have broadened my training to include interpersonal therapy, mindfulness and person centered approaches.
I have been working with adolescents and teenagers since 2016 when I began working with runaway and homeless youth in a youth shelter. As an ally of the LQBGTIA+ community I believe that every person deserves to be heard and validated in a space they can be comfortable being themselves.
