Psychodynamic
Psychodynamics, also known as psychodynamic psychology, is an approach to psychology that emphasizes systematic study of the psychological forces that underly human behavior, feelings, and emotions and how they might relate to early experience.
What is Psychodynamic Therapy
Based on the work of Sigmund Freud, Psychodynamic therapy looks to the unconscious psychological processes and childhood experiences that are believed by this theory to be critical to our personalities as adults. This therapy type often focuses on self-reflection and self-examination.
